![]() Although COVID-19 made last year a difficult one, I was still able to travel all over the state and maintain a busy schedule. I am so thankful for the opportunity to represent the rodeo “Where the Cowboys are the Stars” for two consecutive years. Hello again! Although 2020 was a wild ride, I am beyond excited to see all of the Rowdies and Civies this year at the 2021 Caldwell Night Rodeo! For those of you who don’t know me I am Samantha Woods, your 2020-2021 Miss Caldwell Night Rodeo Queen. Ashley is excited to represent the Caldwell Night Rodeo and to share their spirit of giving back to our local community. Through her words and actions, she believes that she has a unique opportunity to be a role model to young people and share the western way of life. She enjoys meeting new people and talking to all ages about the sport of rodeo. Ashley believes that serving as Miss Caldwell Night Rodeo is an honor. In her free time, she enjoys art, traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. She volunteers as a youth leader through her church and is an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta where she participates in various philanthropic events. When Ashley is not spending time with her horses, she enjoys being involved in community service. She plans to start showing him at reining shows very soon. ![]() She recently started training with her new horse Moonshine. She enjoys taking her horse Buzz to local barrel racing jackpots. She has participated in 4H, FFA, and rodeo. Ashley’s love of horses began at a very young age. She plans to complete her education and attend Veterinary school. Ashley attends the University of Idaho where she is majoring in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary option. Michaela’s favorite part of being Miss Caldwell Night Rodeo 2023 is giving back to our community and raising funds to help inspire youth to dream big and shoot for the stars! She loves that Caldwell Night Rodeo showcases not only the professionals but highlights the future of rodeo in the junior rodeo events to the older members of our community who participate in century roping or have watched CNR from the stands since they were kids themselves.Īshley Kerby is the 20-year-old daughter of Leroy & Quyann Kerby of Kuna, Idaho. Michaela also enjoys practicing the guitar and piano. When her boots are off she enjoys a creative side of her life reading, writing and drawing. She spends a majority of her time in the western world volunteering, riding or enjoying a good rodeo. Michaela currently volunteers with her local 4-H group, serves as the American Blazer Horse Association Vice President, and at her beloved church. A few years ago she represented her local riding club and found many amazing rodeo queens who quickly became her role models. Horses have always been her passion, however she did not grow up in the rodeo world. She also plans to earn a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education soon, in hopes of becoming a second grade teacher. She is currently attending online classes at Brandman University, to achieve her Bachelors in Marketing, after receiving her Associate Degree in Marketing this last May. Michaela Bocci is a 2016 graduate and local resident of Kuna, Idaho.
